The Story > When I discovered and fell in love with this funk groove, I immediately thought of the legendary Craig Mitchell and knew I wanted him to help me to create an ode to late 70’s and 80’s funk classics. Then, when Dave ‘The Truth’ Grippo agreed to lace the sax on it (and I heard the hook that Craig wrote), I knew we had a heater. Shouts to Mister Burns who killed his verse and to Shauna Anderson (of Belizbeha) and Toyosi Babalola for the silky backups.
