The Story > My longtime friend and epic human being Dwight Stewart shared this beat that his friend created and I instantaneously thought of my friend and musical soulmate Jennifer Hartswick (who I was hopeful would bless this tune with her vocal talents). Her poignant chorus spoke to both Dwight and I, and then she doubled down and delivered a buttery summer day trumpet sneak attack. I love how this tune sounds like the middle of June and feels like home. I am blessed to have been able to work with both of them on this masterpiece.
